Guide to the Use and Maintenance of Engineering Hydraulic Cylinders (Part 1)

Standardizing installation and commissioning, controlling working parameters and following operation points can ensure the stable operation of the hydraulic rotary actuator and avoid initial use failures.

Factors Influencing Coaxiality of Hydraulic Cylinders, Inspection Methods and Precautions (Part II)

This article focuses on the influencing factors, inspection methods, influence of installation forms and hazards of improper control of the coaxiality of hydraulic cylinders. It clarifies that coaxiality errors mainly come from the accuracy of the mounting base, welding deformation, parallelism of the guiding mechanism and inadequate detection and adjustment. For error control, it introduces three common on-site inspection and alignment methods such as micrometer inspection and laser alignment detection. At the same time, it analyzes the focus of coaxiality control for different installation forms, points out that excessive coaxiality deviation will aggravate equipment loss and increase maintenance costs, and emphasizes the importance of no-load trial operation and precision records after installation. It provides comprehensive guidance for on-site control, error correction and later maintenance of the coaxiality of hydraulic cylinder installation.

Basic Cognition and Technical Requirements for the Mounting Coaxiality of Hydraulic Cylinders (Part I)

This article focuses on analyzing the core concept and core technical requirements of hydraulic cylinder mounting coaxiality, clarifying that coaxiality is the key to ensuring the stable operation of hydraulic cylinders and the complete machine. Its core is to ensure the coincidence degree between the hydraulic cylinder axis and the relevant mounting reference axis, mainly involving three dimensions of coaxial matching: cylinder barrel and piston rod, hydraulic cylinder and load movement direction, and hole positions of front and rear mounting supports. At the same time, it is pointed out that the coaxiality control standard shall be flexibly determined according to the equipment type, stroke length and working conditions, with different control focuses in different scenarios, and the longer the stroke, the higher the requirement for coaxiality accuracy, providing basic cognition and technical guidance for the preliminary control of hydraulic cylinder mounting coaxiality.

Precautions for the Operation of Newly Installed Hydraulic Rotary Actuators

The core principle of the operation of the newly installed hydraulic rotary actuator is "stability" rather than "speed". Mastering the three core skills of "low-speed running-in to discharge air, full-process self-inspection to troubleshoot hidden dangers, and gradual loading for standard operation" will take a small amount of time, but it can effectively avoid faults such as abnormal noise, crawling and oil leakage, reduce maintenance costs and construction period losses, extend the service life of the hydraulic rotary actuator, and ensure the smooth progress of the project.

Hydraulic Rotary Actuator Installation Science: Avoid Forced Installation Mistakes

The core principle of hydraulic rotary actuator installation is "stability" rather than "speed". Although pre-source dimensional verification and 4 on-site self-inspections will take a small amount of time, they can effectively avoid problems such as actuator rod scratches, lug seat damage, and rework delays. For engineering construction, "slow work yields fine products". Doing a good job in every inspection before installation can truly reduce losses, save costs, and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
